Ban Thakhai- short forest trekking

Take a jungle hike just across the river and learn about the growing plants, healing herbs and the exotic animals. On the other side of the jungle we get to visit the small village Ban Thakai where only 25 families of three different etnic minority groups live together and work the land.
By taking this small trip you direcly contribute to help the people in Ban Thakhai since some of the money goes direcly to our village found which we use for schoolmaterial, houses, planting of new trees and other things that will increase the living standard in Ban Thakhai.

Ban Thaxai- Buddhist temple excursion

About 45min from Ban Pako in the village Ban Thaxai the largest golden Buddah statue in Laos is situated. Go with one of our guides who will tell you about the beautiful temple and the buddhist way of living.

Herbal Sauna

Mixing a large number of different herbs and eucalyptus plants our gardener prepares this refreshing experince for you. It is really amazing to, even though you are in a hot jungle, step into an even more intense heat, as the Lao people has done in hundreds of years.
The different herbs are good for headaches, skin conditions and insect bites.

Lao massage

At our newly built massage platform by the river side our experienced staff performes traditional Lao massage.

Tubing

Grab one of our huge inner tubes and take the boat upstreams and compete with your friends downstreams and finish up with a spinn in the "whirlpool" next to the boatlanding. This is a great way to cool off on a hot afternoon.
